Now let's get to work on Single Payer!

It's not over, and the democracy is intact.

Even when (fairly elected, and legal) President Obama signs into LAW, the Senate/Congressional Health Care Reform Act of 2010, out battle is not won! There is not only the House amendments that must be ratified by the Senate, before they are sent to the President, there is still the issues of COST CONTROL, and an ALTERNATIVE to the mandated insurance. To say that the Mandates are not constitutional is most likely true, when government doesn't step up to the plate with alternatives.

I make no secret that I want Medicare for ALL! I want you at any age, in any condition, at any time (including in an ER needing surgery) to be able to sign in, and PURCHASE insurance on the spot- instantly. Why? For every single anti-government hard-head out there, that will not ever be forced to do what they should do, until it's too late! I also what Doctors to expunged from personal responsibility to treat anyone not somehow insured. That why, I want them to be able to get Medicare there right in the ER!

Do you really want to know what is bleeding local governments dry? Uninsured health care is the number 1 thing. Guess what nearly ends on Thursday?

What about the illegals? Don't you want HEALTHY ILLEGALS? Do you know the kind of diseases they can pass to the rest of us, when walled out of our medical system? I think Mexico should pay for Mexican's using our system when working here illegally. I think Canada should too! I'm not an open boarders guy, but health is too important an issue, for every HUMAN, legal or not.

I think if there is going to be legal mandates, there must be a Single Payer Option (Medicare for all (who want or need it)). And I do think you have to even insure illegals (but not for free).

Meanwhile, what we won:
Insurance Pools (nobody is too small to insure anymore, once small businesses will be able to pool with eachother).
End of PREEXISTING CONDITIONS (you can now shop all policies, to find the right fit).
NO MORE CAP VALUES! (The insurance companies have to complete your treatment.)
Low income credit, and financial aid.
Donut hole closes on Medicare.
The horrible mandate!

I'm not exactly sure what in the House Fix at the moment. But I'll get back to you. This is only the beginning of 'REFORM'. It does nothing to control costs. It does nothing to protect you from bad doctors. It does nothing to control the cost of prescription drugs, or brainwashing ads. It does nothing to curb abusive charges in hospitals. It does nothing to stop your insurance company from having it's own secret death panels. It only strikes the first blow.

Meanwhile, I double dog dare Republican's to reopen the donut hole in Medicare, repeal preexisting conditions ban, repeal cap ban, and repeal financial aid. THIS IS A DOUBLE DOG DARE- DO IT, I WANT TO SEE YOU OUT OF POWER FOR THE NEXT 100 YEARS!

One thing I can promise. I will remember who was on the right side of history in November, I really can promise that!

EVERY SINGLE ITEM in this, took 100 years! Can you imagine doing it one item at a time, after that? Watered down, back room deals, one more attempt after another to over turn Roe, as if that is health care. I rarely talk about the abortion issues, because I have little understanding of them. What I know is that women EVEN IN THIS COUNTRY, do die in child birth, even in this new century/millennium.

This Health Care Reform is a major give away to insurance companies. What they don't like, is being limited in PROFITS, and having to SPEND MONEY ON CARE! The rest of it, they rather like. That what the lies are covering up. Just two small issues, that they'll work around.

I can do this all day, want to go for 1000- keep up the FEAR CAMPAIGN- it tells us exactly who you really are, and who you REALLY SERVE. And it's not local business, now is it?

I'm running out of 40's

As I near my 49th year, I'm looking to close out my 40's on a positive note. I wasted most of 48 making sure to write something everyday, for my many blogs. Which is why the Republican's have been so helpful this year, in setting up targets to shoot at- that was so kind of them. :( However, while this habit did help my writing and spelling skills greatly, it destroyed my productiveness on a lot of other things. Everything has it's trade offs, I guess?

Anyway, as I round the corner into 50, my health insurance is going to spike through the roof. Which is why many potential employers, don't like to hire +50's. So even strapped into my CPAP, this issue causes me some sleepless nights, worrying about how to pay for it, and hoping to win the Lottery so I can just throw money at my problems for the rest of my days (which is not very likely).

Recently, my health insurance company has been messing with me, on everything. Why? I think to get my attention. I think they honestly want the Obama Health Reform to pass. I think they are counting all those new healthy people who will have to get insurance as a plus. So they're fucking with the 40+ to getter done! Clearly, they don't want the Public Option, but once that not in the senate bill, and they want that senate bill passed. Why else would they be acting like such assholes right now, unless they were completely insane? I'll bet the plan is, force the bill to pass, then fight all the amendments to it with everything they've got. I'm just doing my best to try and survive the bullshit.

Now, I admit, as someone with cancer, I have a vested interest in the Public Option. But it's clearly not right for there to be a mandate for insurance without there being an alternative to private for profit insurance. If that's single payer (buying into Medicare early) or the Public Option (New Government Insurance Plan), it doesn't really matter, only that it's there. Because you know, the Insurance Companies are going to try and find ways to shed the unhealthy, as much as they can. That's just good business! It's morally wrong, but morals are bad business, just ask anyone on Wall Street. And that is the real reason I support the PUBLIC OPTION- being only 50ish, I need a safety net once I'm less than profitable!

Behind the woodshed?

A dear friend and myself were discussing the state of religion, to ourselves personally. And about how we have to force ourselves to be nice on things like Facebook. And suddenly he went off on a rant about how politics for many replaces religion. And I think he must be talking about you, once he couldn't have meant me, after all. Ok, ok, he was taking a shot at my partisanship. Everybody who knows me, knows that I'm political, and just a little bit outspoken. And I made a comment about how I was pussyfooting around some friends, that I discovered that I really don't need to that with. I share more in common with them than I thought. And that's somehow became open season on me? Which is ok, I'm tough, I can take it, as much as I dish it out (I hope). It was an unexpected surprise. Not very flattering, but not at all mean spirited in how he did it, and there is a lot of truth in that. But it also means another thing: He reads me, so I'll take it with a smile. Unless he was really talking about you, that would be so wrong!

The most disingenuous thing we hear lately, was on BBCA. Where they decided to talk to an average American business owner about the Obama's Health Plan. And this woman ranted on how it was going to break her business, which is home construction. Home construction, and she doesn't have health insurance, really? I think what she thinks, is that the government is going to force employers to provide health insurance- which is not the plan! That's Hawaii plan, but not the Obama/Senate plan. They make it a personal responsibility, if you have insurance there's no penalty. As a matter of fact, this plan will let her and her company form or join a large collective pool, which in turn can get lower rates for insurance, so it most likely means lower rates, not higher ones. But none of that truth came out on the BBC. But we don't want truth to get in the way of Chamber of Commerce lies! Republican's kept saying they want to shop over state lines- it's in there! The plan will let your kids stay on your health insurance until they're like 28 or something? They will no longer be cut off at 18, as well as no longer being refused insurance for preexisting conditions. And there are funds allocated to help low incomes out.

Then I heard a Republican strategist (on another show) claim, that Republicans will repeal the whole thing just as soon as they're back in power. Once I have cancer, if you do, I promise that I will kill you personally with my own hands for that. Not a gun, or a knife, my bare hands. NO, I REALLY MEAN IT, you want to rethink that boast. Specially once you're a lier on that one, which is why I have no fear in making this idle treat. All Republicans that say this, are liers! Once your going to like what the truth is about these reforms, once they're in place.

It's a total take over of health care, by big stupid bad government. Well truth is, it's not at all. Remember the donut hole, filled, gone, no longer in Medicare. It's not a job killer, quite the opposite. We need more doctors and nurses and administrators. You like your insurance, you keep your insurance, your doctor, your hospital. The only thing missing is... THE PUBLIC OPTION, as an alternative to private insurance. It's coming. We might not get it this round, but it's coming and soon.

Let's get this strait once and for all! John McCain is in trouble, because he totally counted on the wrong guys to carry him through, after loosing to Bush. His hard turn to the right, damaged EVERYONE'S respect for him. He sold out his principles and values, for dysfunction, arrogance, and stupidity. He's done nothing but damage himself to swing voters. John's last good day was the day he defended Obama from a Arab bashing old lady. John turned so hard to the right, that he picked Rush Limbaugh's love bunny for VP. And while she can spit poison with the best, destruction of ideals is all she can bring to the table, and she brings to question, everything about John's judgment. Now John feels that he can't turn back to the middle, to where most of America is, but he insists on being out front as the head of the party. He's got to be hard liner, to the end. Well John, you found your end of the line. Enjoy retirement in San Diego, the right wing is no place for losers- they never understand why they lost. And you play to them? Your loosing your seat because you're being an idiot. It is too late John, just go down in flames already. You lost your way, over 5 years ago, not just with today. Nobody trusts you to be true anymore.

It's not about Right vs Left, it's about reason. Too much is read into too little, today. The middle will TRY OUT, the guy on the Left or the Right, only because they lost faith in what they've got. They know disingenuous too well, so when you degrade to being a politician, you're done! So long, Senator from Arizona. John Kerry is the same guy today that he was when he ran for President. The same can not be said for the other John. One will keep his seat, the other will loose it. And being so far off the road, and too close to the trees, he'll never see it coming.

Ted Kennedy would ask senators on both sides, will it help you, or hurt you, for me to endorse you? Not even Obama endorsing McCain's Opponent would help John at this point, in Arizona that hates Obama. And it's just because he's been so disingenuous, for so long. America HATES a fake! It's what all sitting Republican's need to fear- not the other party, but bad tactics.
