Dirty little secrets

I know people who have never gotten over the Baseball STRIKE! Millionaires on strike, did piss people off, ALOT! There is a dirty little secret going on at the MLB and all professional sports. Records are made to be broken- yeah, by drug dealers and cheaters!

There was an old SNL skit about the All Drug Olympics- which isn't too far from the truth with all professional sports. Do you really think an average size guy and can play with 7 footers, without a boost of some kind? I just hope nobody pulls there arms off, trying to lift something impossible, as they did on SNL.

I'm the guy who says; "Let them all into the hall of fame! But put a slice of orange next to their names. So fathers can explain to their children; They were juiced!" So kids will realize the true value of cheating- it sells the shit out of tickets! We know there are 107 reasons from the 2003 season, that proves this true. And some players dare argue that some substances on the list, we're illegal at the time, so it's unfair to those, to expose the list.

That's the whole problem! It wasn't against the rules, only the intent of the rules? Which is only a moral issue, that (particularly) people making millions of dollars, never quite seem to understand.

I wasn't a big fan of Jose Conseco when he was playing. I always thought he was an arrogant jerk. Enjoyed the hell out watching him loose a ball in the sun, that bounced off his head and out of the park- that must of hurt in more than one way? But I've become a fan, with all his whistle blowing. Yeah, he's a jerk, always has been, but he's an honest one! All the other's, not so much.

Juiced ball, a juice big splintering bat at the plate, it's all good for the game, and the fans are all winners, seeing untouchable record after record broken. Professionalism has nothing to do with integrity, or honestly. Don't teach your children falsehoods, teach them to be ethically challenged rule benders instead.

What there really needs to be, is a rule to limit the number of cheaters any one team can enjoy. Just to give us upright people, a false sense of hope!

I noticed Sara Palin, one of my very least favourite people in the whole Universe! Not that I know a lot of people outside Earth, or anything. But let's just say; her Amerogrance is exactly the kind of thing that pisses me off. We need to pull back the rhetoric, really stop being imperialistic, and get back to simple core values, and deal with our real issues, not just the fake ones. None of which Sara understands.

What I noticed clearly in her resignation ceremony(?), was her shot at Hollywood. This is a favorite straw-dog to kick, for any politician. Hollywood sucks, liberals suck, liberal Hollywood sucks little green donkey dick! Then why do you buy so much theater popcorn? But she locked right in on the topic of her kids. Which when you parade them around as family value props, I don't quite understand how they are out of bounds? WAIT! BUT THEY SHOULD BE! Always! No question there! It's like the old rape arguments: Dress provocatively, and you've got expect... NO! Not acceptable, EVER!

My point here is; That if Sara wants to attack Hollywood, and the media elite; Son of Bitch, I can get behind that! Which might not be such good news for Mr. Murdock. (This ain't myspace, I can say that here).

Besides gender and politics, and general good looks, there's a huge difference between Sara and myself. You actually want to hear her opinions? But mine, you'll get anyway. Perhaps?

Well, without that valueless leftest media, doggin her every move, and every word. And tormenting herself, and her kids; where will she be? Please God, help the bitch ditch the media! Pretty please?

Now part of my problem with Sara is that voice, it's like nails on a chalkboard to me! And it's not the words coming out of the mouth that bother me- it's the excitement in the voice. The higher she squeaks, the more I've got to leave- so I only get her through the filter of the media, it the only way I can even half way stand her.

Here's a clue for you all. Sara is not going away, like a failed VP candidate should. Not at all. By NOT being in office, she no longer has those pesky little special interest rules to live by. And now, for the first time in her live, she has developed a taste for money! Ooo, this is new, I see why people like it? I just can't believe she couldn't have finished her term of a year and a half, other than just wants it all NOW! Right NOW! And let you judge her character on that.

I'm willing to bet, that she'll settle into a nice lucrative deal with the NRA, well besides her whoring for Big Oil. They seem to like that "Drill baby, drill!" stuff. And resettle in the state of New York. It is my worsted nightmare that she would settle in California- but she's invited to speak at the Reagan Library, later this month. Please God, East Coast, EAST COAST!!!

PS: Remember my rant about stupid Google Ads? Posting this, there was SaraPac, begging me for a hand out- no, I shit you not! They still don't get the concept of context? Google is stupid, particularly politically stupid!

Beep, ping, ping, AHA!

Nothing ever happens at random. Why would "scientists" be warning about wars against machines right now? Robots reaching Sci-fi levels of intelligence, is what I'm trying to say. Why? Why NOW? And then Monday morning comes around and on CNN, and there it is: Talk about drones and making fleets of totally manless DRONES, to do all our future killing in war. Just flying themselves around in squadrons and killing people? But at some point it escalates into our tinker toys killing your tinker toys- and then finally we have a war where nobody gets hurt, that EVERYBODY can get behind, right?

Then computers through social networking sites, will start to organize, and form unions...hopefully find love in the end.

I leave you this question; What's the point in war, where nobody gets killed?

Reality check: I am as CHEAP as anybody ever born, at any time- but we need jobs! We have no population at all comparatively, and double digit unemployment. Think about it.

Jambalaya Stuffed Peppers

April was our last recipe? That's far too long without one! Now that I've got my database BACK, I can raid it a little more often to get these recipes out there where they are easy to find. Never thought I'd have a problem getting to my own recipes, but something went wrong with MySQL and my old computer, and nothing would fix it. Please don't send me advice on fixing it, I'm an EXPERT in fixing PC's- it was after a spark, that we had a problem that was totally unfixable.

Under Chiles, I see I've got Jambalaya Stuff Peppers. About as good a place as any to store a Jambalaya recipe. And August is Chile Cook Off season, all across the West! So as July winds down, it seems like the perfect time for this.

1/2 lb Chicken
1/4 lb Chopped Ham
1/2 lb Chopped Sausage (Kielbasa - I like to use those little party ones sliced into 3rds)
1 Chopped Onion
1 Chopped Tomato
1 Tb Oil for browning

1 C Rice (uncooked)
2 t Garlic Powder
1 Tb Parsley
1/4 t Thyme
3 Bay Leaves
1/4 t Basil
1/4 t Oregano
Salt & Pepper
2 C Water
Tops of 6 Bell Peppers Chopped
5 Dry Red Peppers (uncrushed whole)

6 Bell Peppers Parboiled

Brown the meats with the oil. Then add veges, and spice, and rice and water.
Simmer Jambalaya 40 minutes to an hour stirring occasionally.
When done, pick out Red Peppers (one or two always break and disappear) unless you hate your guests.
Parboil Bell Peppers (cups) 10 minutes, and stuff with Jambalaya.
Serve hot.

I have my short-cut method of this same basic recipe, which I'll post next time. Which has to do with using Louisiana Super Hot Sausage instead of Kielbasa, and little to no peppers added.

I trained my dog to remind me to take my pills at night. She doesn't really seem to understand that it's not about her, and her treat. Seems to work the same way with Blue Dog Democrats, too. We are watching closely, and taking names when we can get them.

The health care industry has a huge picture of Uncle Sam with a stethoscope around his neck, warning you about your NEXT DOCTOR. What? How is that worse than my HMO, are they kidding? Bankers are making my health care dissensions- and if you think they're not, ask for a second opinion on ANYTHING! You have a right to one, but they will not make it easy, nor will they pay until challenged. Our health care system SUCKS! If you are relatively healthy, you have no idea how much it sucks! Get cancer, and you'll want that public option- no really!!! They only love the healthy, everybody else had better have an attorney.

What did I tell you, before? The problem with democrats, is that they don't walk in lock step EVER, on anything! We don't get talking points every morning. So a Democratic President's worse enemy is not Republican Congress, it's his own party. And healthcare is the biggest bag of sewage you can dive into!

The public option will not replace your current system. But should, through competition, lower costs, and improve service. That is the goal. Nobody at all, wants a worse system! NOBODY! But hands off, has not worked. Time for just a little HAND ON! If you believe in faith based stuff, you've got to believe in the laying on of hands!

And once we can't trust elephants to even have a clue of what it really costs blue collar people, it will drive up prices. We know from history, they're all liars on the health care issue! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. They don't want reform. And YOU are fucked without it! So, before you go spreading those lies about FUBAR (Canada, UK, or Germany,) check the facts.

The party of 'no' seems to be more the party of paranoa. I think it's from smokin' too much grass in colledge. No, just isn't in their nature after running up the biggest debt of all time, from surpluses- that did nothing very wonderful for America in the process, but make us the most hated people on earth. Like usual, they haven't a single idea to offer, and think it's all the fine the way it is?????????????????????????????????????????

Anthem Blue Cross is telling young people (in their 20s) in California, that full health insurance for them will cost them $400 a month. So, being genius's that they are, they decided to save young people money by making insurance plans Ala Carte, so young people can afford them. Ok, here's the deal. I'm California Major Risk, which means I'm nearly uninsurable. Want to know what I pay? $400 a month, and I'm nearing 50 years old! So is that a lie going out the gate or not? The trick is that they want to collect money, and never EVER, EVER, pay any back out. So they're GAMING you!!! Unlike Life Insurance, you have no equity in Health Insurance. Is this really how you want healthcare to work; "Sorry, you didn't take our preventative package, so now your sickness is not covered." This is what they fully plan to do to you!

Capitalism is failing BIG TIME on this one issue. You want free market choice, then it's time for reform, it's time for a government option to force prices back down! Don't take my word for it, or theirs; FACT CHECK! FACT CHECK! FACT CHECK! Once you have a friendly doctor, he can recommend you some pot, so you can at least get giggly and paranoid at the same time. How cool is that dude? Hey, I said friendly doctor, didn't I?

Fact: Health Care cost go UP every year. Six time faster than inflation. That's 600% faster than your grocery bill! Even out pacing gasoline prices, and you can't see a problem here? But you can't afford it? You can't afford not to! There is a very good reason they can afford to run ads everywhere to defeat it, and it's not because of desperation.

Somehow, they weren't invited to the party? Boo, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo! You know, there are times when you just have to crash the gates, and just invite yourselves. But that's not the life of these cry babies. Don't forget NEXT YEAR, these sour pusses are suppose to work for you!

Spygate

For those of you who don't read me regularly, please understand that I'm not a radical leftist of any kind. I am really very conservative, and very ashamed at the failure of capitalism to not understand it's moral responsibility to ALL of mankind.

The more we learn about Bush era Spy Programs, the more you learn that the little jerk had no idea what freedom means! Pardon my editorializing.

The founders of this country envisioned a place that was free. Free from class warfare, religious persecutions, and free to make your own fortunes, and pursue happiness. We since then, we corrected our wrongs, and made all men & women free, from sexism and race. Giving all the full and same rights as that of white male. And more importantly rejected authoritarianism that would decide what we can and can't drink (self-medicate) with- and there's something I can drink to!

The most important right of all, which is not spelled out in the Constitution (and amendments), is education and learning. We believe in Public Schools, as much or even more so than Private School, because everyone must meet a basic level of skills to succeed in our country. You need to be able to read a news paper to be an informed voter. (And without NEWS PAPERS there is no Internet NEWS, so you had better subscribe to something!!!)

The one thing that most Americans hold dear, is our right to privacy, even over all our other liberties. This has been taboo ground, sacred for everyone, except...

Under Bush, park rangers at the Grand Canyon National Park were not allowed to answer the basic question; "How old is the Canyon?". Because it violated the President's beliefs, that it couldn't be more than 6,000 years old. Well, sorry to expel your stupidity there, based on the idea and concepts of Bishop Usher again, and whoever wrote the Gospel of Mathew. But the earth is MUCH MUCH older than that, and the Grand Canyon was NOT created from run off, from Noah's Great Flood! So there was an order, to make the official answer; "Nobody knows for sure." Or you would be fired. This answer is a lie, and is WRONG both morally and ethically, and it's why WE ARE THE LAND OF THE FREE!

The trouble with Republicans down through history has been Cherry Picking the Constitution. We like this, but don't agree with that- never mind the fact that disagreement is your RIGHT under the law to begin with. The trouble today, is that they know there is a Constitution someplace, but they've never read it!!! And still they take the oath to defend and protect it. Which means the paper, right?

The Constitution was created to protect all men from the perils of European government- meaning mostly by popularity; Catholicism. And Popes' have been pissed for 200+ years, because they are powerless here! I don't want you think that I'm some nut that bashes Catholics just because... We're talking roots of power here folks, and history. Not some ideology differences- just history, so please don't take that the wrong way.

Ronald Reagan made me a Democrat by blaming Welfare Moms as the biggest budgetary evil, when in fact they were less than 4% of the budget! Never mind that 96% was spent elsewhere, and much much more was spent just fighting the Cold War. George Deukmegian made me a Democrat by changing California's laws, to support zero tolerance, drug search and seizure. Which meant, they could search your mobile home, or boat, without a warrant, and impound it, for just a seed being found in the carpet. This outrage is without a WARRANT, in this country! What happened to Due Process, and Limitation of Powers? What happened to FREEDOM?

Freedom of Speech went out the window with Dixie Chics. And nobody cared?

We know now, that President Bush did a lot more than just spy on some International Phone calls, and emails. He did a lot more than that. And mostly to news paper reporters, tv reporters, and apparently anybody anywhere at any time, that ever blogged or emailed. And still you are apathetic?

According to the Neocons, we are bringing the great virtue of Democracy to the World in our wars- when last I checked, Greece/Mesopotamia was the BIRTH PLACE of Democracy- it's not a new concept to them, they've had 3000 year of history with this stuff? So we're bringing our liberty then? When we now look like an Orwellian nightmare, that even KGB would admire?

No place in there, was lawlessness condoned! There is REX LEX (King is law) which we rejected for LEX REX (law is king), under our Constitutional Government. Since Teddy Roosevelt, government has been in the business of aggressively preserving the environment, and protecting good health through science. This is not NEW, and should not be undone by the latter's EVER, Mr. Bush!

We require EVERY PRESIDENT, AND MEMBER OF CONGRESS to swear an oath, to protect and defend these articles. Yet there is no litmus test to assure us that they not only know them, but understand them. Read my blog regularly, and you understand why that offends and worries me.
