Scott Brown, from what I understand ran a great campaign. I blame the democrats for running an uninspiring woman for the seat. A GOD DAMN HANDSOME MAN always gets +2 voting edge. You think it's not true, voters aren't that shallow, look around. So, a woman must run a perfect campaign- always! But it's very hard to beat a 50ish handsome man, who is running a good campaign. Coakley didn't, they took the seat for granted (maybe). They let him define the issues, unchallenged. They lost, and they deserved it.
Voters are shallow. Got a nice smile, and a face they want to have a drink with- you got a vote! But don't let Brown's victory go to your heads, it's not a mandate message. Teddy wasn't that bad a lookin guy either!
Now Senator Brown just got his ass lit on fire! He's got to do things to REBUILD the middle class. Republican's hate the middle class, so we'll see how he survives Washington? On health care reform, I blame the Senate for not getting health care done on time, back in AUGUST, like the House did.

Good News, Palin joins FOXNEWS!
Yes, I did say that, it is good news to hear that Sara Palin finally joined Fox News cable network.
Maybe now, Chris Mathews will finally realize that she's only in it for the money and fame: She's not going to run for President. When the going gets tough, Sara gets to cut and run!
With nonstop exposure to Palin, it will interesting to see how long she can hold on to 1.1 million Facebook fans. Here's a clue for you, she not very bright at all. She can deliver the zingers, I'll give you that, but there's no substance to her. We know she loves the bright lights, and all the money that fame brings. So, I'm very very sure, Sara will not run for public office again. She has a voice and a cause, and attention turned to her, any time she wants. She can even pretend to be fair, honest, and always truthful. What more can a girl ask?
For me though, this will force me into new viewing habits. I'll have to completely stop watching Count Down, because Beck, Limbaugh, and a daily Palin rant will be just too much, for even me! I genuinely dislike her, and don't revel in people attacking or praising her. I wish she would shut up and go away, but that's just not going to happen. She gives too many men with big wallets, big boners, so that is never going to happen, until the perkiness wears thin.
For the simple minded foul mouth idiots like me, Sara is living the dream. She's charmed, blessed, loved. Gad!? But honestly, it's about time there Fox!
If 1.1 million sounds like a lot to you, I'll remind you that there is 300 million people in America today. And at least half of us, don't like her at all. I hope they put her up against Rachel Maddow, it's not going to make any difference to who watches what at all, but it will give me something real to watch instead of that train wreck.

Tea Bagging nonsense- fuck!
A friend of mine just joined Scrap the Bill, on Facebook. So I went and looked, and what a found was nothing but BULLSHIT! Which proves, you don't learn, listen, or read, or think for yourself, it's from Foxnews to God's ears- TRUTH? Hardly!
There is one ISSUE we can agree on! I'm not out to make another corporate welfare program, I'm out to get an out of control, (growing 8 time faster than inflation) system, under control. I'm being bankrupted not by my hospital bill, but by my insurance bill- FUCK HEADS! I don't have a monthly hospital bill, but I sure have a monthly insurance bill, as a major risk patient!!! I make a house payment a month to insurance companies, for $100k of lifetime coverage, and I've already paid them more than that for my policy.
Healthy people with insurance, think they are safe and covered. You are until you have CHF, or Cancer, or Diabetes. Or a combination of all the above. THAT HAS TO STOP! We want them to gut this bill down to just the insurance reforms, and get rid of the handouts, of millions of new FORCED customers.
There is common ground, for those not tooooooooooooooooo FUCKING STUPID to see it! But what am I thinking? If I say the sky is blue, you have to insist that it's green. Which- I don't get it?
The issues now are;
1) Taxing Existing Health Plans
2) Mandating people to have insurance
These two issue don't control anything, they just criminalize people for taking a risk, that they might not be able to afford along with rent and food. They turn a benefit that working into a Tax liability? That's why Baccus must GO, in Montana! Criminalizing honest working people is WRONG!
Even the mandate is flawed. It's not going to cover EVERYBODY? That's not going to help the ER one bit. The problem with the ER isn't that it's how America see a doctor, now? The problem is that it bleeds money, so that is recycle into your insurance bill for a hospital stay, which adds to climbing rates every year.
Forcing anybody to get insurance is being a bully, but forcing only a few, is selectively and it's morally wrong. In Hawaii everybody has insurance through a mandate on employers. Not one of the REFORMS we're talking about, will change a thing in Hawaii, because they are even more PROGRESSIVE than it is. A point totally ignored by Rush Limbaugh, and his glowing endorsement of his care?
The alternative (in the bill) is, that everybody who is forced, can apply for a grant to cover some of the cost. What, a tax credit? Fuck that, that's not helpful, because it's not dependable. Remember that term "Lock Box"??? Well, we had to fight for 30 years to get a "Lock Box" for your Social Security, and you know we'll have the same fight again!
You, who want NOTHING, fail to realize that the insurance company is not your friend! We know the insurance companies are not our friends, we want the reforms, which keep sick people out of the pool they belong in. They are barred because it lowers PROFITS- there is a difference between LOWER and BANKRUPT. They CHARGE YOU TOO MUCH, but unlike the IRS, they never give it back, it's goes into their pockets as PROFIT! For something that should be a HUMAN RIGHT! You will have your place in hell for it, when you think about it!

Reform, I don't see no FUCKING reform!
Man, for almost a year now we been talking nothing but health care reform, and there have been GREAT ideas out there, and it's been a heck of a debate! Pity the Republican's didn't participate? They did manage to poison the whole thing- fucking insurance company whores! But even with a "Super Majority", we couldn't get it done, because the Senate is totally FUCKED UP, and completely useless to anybody with less than $100,000,000 to spend- they are bought a paid for!
How did this happen? 60 votes is filibuster proof, true. But with exactly 60, guess what, the biggest JACKASS in the senate, can become a GOD! Anyone of these MF's can move the legislation around at will, because to loose one, you may as well loose them all. It's far worse than having say 59 votes or less, were power is equal. Remember that idea to dump the public option to buy into Medicare at 55- that's gone too!
I'm now of the opinion, scrap the whole God DAMN thing! They poisoned the whole bill, and they want more to die in the process? Everybody that can't afford a doctor that dies this decade, dies because of the Senate and greed.
I do not want to feed more people into a broken system, it will not control costs (of insurance or health care), it just gives the insurance companies a slice of your tax dollars for doing nothing, but what they should be doing to begin with (without your tax dollars)! FUCK THAT! Insurance companies are not our friends, and a deeper mandated pool will not work to fix anything, it will make it all 1000 times worse! Better to kill it than to pass it! WE FAILED AGAIN!
I was pissed off when Firedoglake recently said kill the bill. It has some good stuff in it, but now it's down to gut it or kill it. No mandated insurance- fuck that, that is where Republicans are right. Where they're wrong, is that if you are going to mandate then NOT FOR PROFIT alternatives have to be in place! And the biggest baddest of those is the Federal Government.
NO PUBLIC OPTION, than NO FORCED INSURANCE ON ANY LEVEL! FUCK THE SENATE AND EVERYBODY IN IT!

Dick Cheney needs to come home to planet Earth
Barack Obama only reminds us every third day, that he's a President at War. And apparently, Dick misses those? Maybe Dick watches too much Fox and Friends, and not enough CNN or MSNBC or even BBC America, or even CBS, ABC, & NBC? With the Obama administration, we are not at war with Terrorism. Why? Because that is not a solvable problem, there will always be crazy people, foreign and domestic, out to kill in large numbers. No the War is on a particular group of well funded nutjobs, and the relentless pursuit of those nutjobs, across the whole globe.
Why does this make Dick angry? Let's look at the facts. Without George/Dick letting two key men go from Guantanamo, the Christmas Underpants Bomber wouldn't have been trained. Now why did they release them to Saudi's for Arts & Crafts training and therapy? It's because Oilmen take care of each other. So what did Dick do to make this country safer, much less lower prices at the pump?

As a personal note: What I fear here is exactly what men like Dick try to exploit: Because people (mostly white, and not well educated), are angry and polarized. They will believe anything he says against the current administration without any fact checking. And because they read polarized newspapers, magazines, and watch polarized propaganda cable news. They refute all real facts, as being liberal bias conspiracy. They do! This is why Conservatives are waisting your money in Washington, sitting on their hands, not even funding the War they started and like to criticize now, and pretend that it's Obama that abusing our blood and treasure, for his own idealism. And with 30% of you, they will get away with it. I've stop saying; You must be kidding? And have started asking; What planet are you from?

Facts are we went to war with Iraq because Saudi's wanted us to.

Facts are that there is nobody left in Guantanamo that the Saudi's want.
Facts are that Republicans were in favor of closing Guantanamo before they were against it.
Facts are that it's okay to prosecute terrorists in criminal court under a Republican Administration, but not a Democratic one- for what reason?
Facts are that Republican's have done more to help them, than to stop them, as is evident by the underpants bomber.
Facts are that you're dupes, that have been lied to by oilmen for 9 years! Isn't that right Mr. Koch, Mr. Army, and Mr. Cheney?
Facts are that the British and Dutch have grabbed up the oil fields in Iraq (after all that). So the American Tax Payer is just out of his money on that war?
How about some fact checking before you take everything said by anybody for granted this next year? Even just 10 minutes on the Internet. Tiger Woods is Player of the Year!
Holy crap, you can't make stuff like that up, no one will ever believe it!
I'm sure Tiger has ducked under the radar right now, because of embarrassment. Tiger tries very hard to be a good man, and the world discovered his secret life. I'm sure, he knew it would come out, but I'll bet he never expected it to be so dramatic as putting a car into a tree.
They foreclose on banks on Friday, to prevent runs, that would even worse bust the bank. Doing this on Fridays give another bank a chance, to absorb the balance sheets, and adjust costs, without complete bankruptcy. It's a good idea. It also puts such things out of the news cycle these days- Because shamefully, it's not it's not 24/7/365 a year news cycle anymore! And that's really a budget cutting, lack of professionalism. If you notice, the Jr Reporters read lead-ins on story that were done during the week, at almost every station. There is no politics on the Sabbath.
Congress and the President have noticed this 12/5/207 work schedule, along with the rest of us. So, there is a rush to get bad news out LATE FRIDAY, when all the researchers have gone home or about to! Like just sneaking it in. I noticed that the Senate just did this with all of it's end of the year budget tasks. They played politics all week long, making it look like everybody can't get along on anything, and by EARLY Saturday morning, the fuss is over. We're ready to dead lock on one remaining issue; Health Care Reform for another Sunday Morning Chat-room Cycle. This about politics being politics. The movement for change? What change? Meet the new boss, same as the old boss!

To all my cynical friends; You were right, there is no hope of getting real Health Care Reform this session, it's been watered down to nothing to gain conservative votes that aren't even going to happen. To all my cynical friends; You were right, there is no hope of getting real Health Care Reform this session, it's been watered down to nothing to gain conservative votes that aren't even going to happen. And frankly, this is not OVER! Everyone against is going down, to an angry populous- Republicans, find yourself good candidates other than "Incumbent", because we will not forgive or forget, who is on the wrong side of history. This is not Obama's Waterloo, it is yours! This is not a normal political year, all eyes are watching, there will be a price for being stupid- I've focused on you Republicans because you were the most foolish, and have the most to loose, I'm not kidding, Run NEW voices. Conservative Democrats will be very very luckly to retain their seats, if they can at all. This is war with the public, and we're not going to take it!
